My Conversation with Lil Wel this Morning:Mom, I got a pimple on my nose.
No you don’t.
Yes, I do. Look!
OMG! You do! Awww, your very first pimple! Can I take a picture?
Gross! No! Why did I get a pimple?
Well, I guess you may be starting puberty.
I thought puberty was when you started growing hair. (Whispering) You know down there??
Ewww, no crazy! Puberty is when you start to become a man. You know your voice gets lower, you start growing hair on your face and armpits (as well as down there too) and you get pimples. Everyone gets pimples.
But I’m only 9!!!
You’re almost 10 and some people start puberty early. I think Darius started around 10 years old.
Oh, cool. I guess you can take a picture.
