Joined the Texas Health Fitness Center's Weight No More Challenge. Weighed-in this morning and picked up my pass card. Of course they spelled my name wrong. :)

Day 29

Heather let me borrow her DVDs. I started Season One tonight. Well, actually, I watched the mini-series. Tomorrow is the beginning of Season One.

Day 28

Wel has been working on his anime drawings ever since Cassie and I both bought him How to Draw Manga books for Christmas. He whipped this girl out in less than a minute today.

Day 27

My makeup drawer is a mess. I know it's a mess but I like being able to just pick out want I need or want when the mood strikes. I don't like keeping it all packed up in a bag and having to take it all out just for one item. This is one area of my life that I actually prefer disorganization. Go figure.

Day 26

Wel and I played Connect Four tonight for our game night. We had a good time talking smack to each other and laughing over who did the "I won" dance better. LOL.

Day 25

Wel and I finished the puzzle over the weekend. I had to take a final pic before we broke it apart and put it back in the box.

Took Wel to GameStop today so he could buy a game for his DSi with the giftcard he got for Christmas.

Magazine I bought today. I don't know why but I can't help it. I always need to know what's going on with Brad, Jen and Angelina. I know it's been years but I still follow the story. Apparently now Angelina's been cheating on Brad. Poetic Justice? I think so.

Day 21

Wel and I prepped the ingredients for stew so we can put it in the slow cooker in the morning. We chopped the beef, peeled and cut the potatoes, carrots and onions and we sliced some bacon. Now it's all ready for the morning.

Day 20

Wel and I went to the Southlake Public Library tonight for my weigh-in with the Weight Loss Challange girls. They have this bull out front with Southlake places painted on it. Wel refused to take off his headphones for the pic. Btw, I lost 6 pounds this week. Yay me!!

Day 19

I took Wel to band try-outs tonight. He really wanted to be picked for percussions. He was so nervous I could see his hands shaking while holding the drum sticks. But he made it. He was so happy and relieved. Now, I guess I have to get him ready to be a drummer next year for the 6th grade.

Day 18

Our living room. I moved the little TV from my bedroom into here because the big one broke when the electricity went out during a storm. I think it blew a fuse.

Cassie gave us this 1000 piece puzzle so Wel and I are putting it together. It's a tough one but we're enjoying it. (Well, I am. Wel is still undecided. LOL.)

I had to go to my Weight Loss Challenge meetup to be weighed in so Wel and I were on the road immediately after work. I, of course, got lost driving from here to Southlake and it took much longer than it should have. Wel was so good about it all. When we got there, it's in the Public Library, he sat down and read a book while I did my meeting thing. So, I took him to Sonic after. He wanted to get a blast but the ice cream machine was broken so he got a soda instead. What a great kid. :)

Day 12

Wel took this pic of himself using his DSi. We were at my job because I had to work some overtime and I think he was just killing time.

Day 11

Welton and I had our Mom and Son day today. We do it once a year. I take off from work, he "skips" school and we spend the day together. When we stopped at Walgreens, he wanted to look at the toys. He ended up getting a notebook from the school supply section instead. He wanted something he could draw his ideas on but small enough to fit in his back pocket. Go figure. :)

We were at Cassie's house today and Darius was curious about Bill's blood pressure machine. So, he decided to take his blood pressure reading. And then we all had to take our own so we could see whose was the highest and whose was the lowest.
