Update on Darius

He's healing. Slowly. It's actually looking worse every day instead of better. Funny how that works. He's able to open his eye some now which he couldn't open it at all the first day. And he's able to see out of it which was my biggest concern. We were finally able to get his contact out last night which was driving him crazy. I called the police yesterday and reported what's happening but they didn't seem very interested. She said they were aware of things like this going on but she couldn't do anything unless I had more specific information. They can't make an arrest unless they are called and respond while the fight is taking place. She told me to call back when I had more info to give them and she didn't even give me a report number. Talk about frustrated!! Argh!

My hair products for when I wear my hair curly. I use the yellow one "Strictly Curls" when I wear my hair straight too because it helps control the frizzies. My faves for my curly hair are the purple one "Bed Head" and the blue one "Curls Rock". They make the curls look nice and keep them soft.

His dad bought him a Dragon Egg yesterday. So Lil Wel spent most of the morning putting it together and playing with the soldiers.

Darius got into a fight with one of his "friends" which is rare for him. Darius rarely fights. The phrase "I'm a lover, not a fighter" should be his motto. My poor baby is hurt and my heart aches for him. I can't tell if he hurts more physically or emotionally. His ego is bruised and I hate that. My boy is usually all proud and confident. He hates that it happened in front of most of his friends but at least he manned up and took the challenge. No one else would. I am pissed! My mother bear instinct is screaming!! I want to run over to that boy's house and totally unman him. I am Sheba! Here me roar!! Mess with my cub and I will kick your ass!! But, that will not happen. I can't embarass him even more. I can just be here for him and help him with the pain. All of it.
